The cooking, cracking, and consuming of lobster isn't for everyone. The first step in the process seems to put a lot of people off. Unfortunately, the general public shows little interest in finding out how the burger (or, in this case, the lobster) on our plate came to be. Taking part in the killing of our food is not something we are accustomed to.
The physical cracking of the lobster to remove the meat makes for a huge mess and can lead to assorted injuries. While the little medal crackers one uses to break open the claws helps, I can never seem to get away from the meal without a few cuts on my hand. So, you may be asking, is all of this work worth it?

Ah yes, it is worth every painstaking crack.
I like mine just as is with butter, though a good lobster bisque can really tempt my tastebuds
Don't forget the napkins…….
