On our way to Bellocq, Maggie (of Eat Boutique) and I were talking about what to expect from our trip. And, to be honest, we didn’t know what we were going into. Would the lighting be any good? Would there be anything interesting to take pictures of? As soon as we walked into their store, both of those questions were immediately answered. Yes. Definitely. I spent the next hour taking picture after picture of all the wonderful little details that make the Bellocq storefront so special.
I won’t go into too much about what Bellocq does (and they do it so very well). Instead, I’m going to direct you to this piece from Eat Boutique. Maggie describes it perfectly and I hope I did them justice and was able to capture the atmosphere.

What a lovely place! There is one particular tea shop in Toronto that I am rather fond of but even it lacks some of the charm of this place. Beautiful shots, Brian!
Wow! I would say you certainly captured the essence of Bellocq, and what a gorgeous spot. Brian, your photos are just incredible! My favourites are images 1, 5 and 8–unreal. But, truly, every image is beautiful. Love the light too!
Mnnn. . . I LOVES me some Sundays, especially when they are silent!
Bellocq ≠ belle époque
Is it weird that I almost felt like I could spell your pictures?
Yes. That is weird.
(beautiful!)
Brian, I could see all of those images in a book, they are just beautiful! I love how you captured the colours in the teas…Well done my friend!
This place looks like a tea-lovers dream!
Love these shots! Wow!
Brian:
Your amazing professional eye comes through once again. Keep clickin!!
My friend you have outdone yourself with this beautiful shots. Lovely!
Thanks for the fabulous peek into the Bellocq shop. Can’t wait to see what Maggie has to say.
Brian, I do believe that these are amongst my favorites of all your beautiful photography. What a wonderful place!
You captured to spirit and soul of this place,
I can see why you wanted to post this one a day early
. There is a quiet beauty about your shots today. Tea parlours are so quaint, so comforting in their crammed corners and exotic wares. We have one here where I live, it is called T2 and if you ever come visiting, I’ll take you there. Just your cup of tea, me thinks!
You’ve captured the essence of bellocq — I could just lose in those lovely shots
LOVE these photos! Great job
Brian, your photos make me so happy, even without tasting all the varieties. Wish I could though…
Whatever it is that they do (tea?), you made it look amazing in your photos!!!
GORGEOUS!! I just want to jump into these photos!
So pretty. I was admiring these over at Eat Boutique last week. Love them! Love Silent Sunday!
what beautiful, inspirational photos.
Absolutely gorgeous – I love the violet color scheme
Now I know why were you so excited to post this
Indeed the photos are stunning gorgeous.
You really brought me to this lovely place Bellocq. Such a beautiful and peaceful place and I am now wanting a good book and a cup of tea.
