Silent Sunday: A Cape Cod Morning

Over the next five months, Eric and I will be making trips down to his family’s house on Cape Cod.  Last weekend was our first time back since November.  Maki, our adorable pup, is in love with the outdoors and, as expected, was up bright and early on Sunday morning to explore.  But she can’t do it alone.  Oh no… she wants us out there with her.

Even as we’re eating breakfast, she stands by the door and barks at us.  She doesn’t want to come in and see what we’re doing, but, rather,  does whatever she can to get us to play with her.

You must get tired of reading and listening to people say how gorgeous your pictures are, but as you know, I don’t care: your photographs are gorgeous. Thanks for bringing a little of the Cape into my Sunday! You pup is adorable, and I can see she doesn’t want to pose! Cute!

Cape Cod looks so gorgeously peaceful! Well, except for Maki on Sunday mornings. It’s just because she doesn’t like awkward silences. I can tell.

Gorgeous photos, Brian. I’ve never been to Cape Cod, but I’d love to visit there sometime. How lucky you and E and Maki are to have a place there to spend some downtime.

Beautiful, Brian. I’m on Fire Island and it’s like that here now. Quiet, eery, empty. The roar of the ocean is the only sound floating in the air.

Aw, sweet pup. Our dog also strongly prefers that we play with her – even inside – and will be pretty clear in telling us!

I didn’t want the photos to end. I wanted them to go on and on and on. YOu get lots of this, but your photos are the second best thing to actually being there. WOW!

I absolutely ADORE Cape Cod. We’ve gone to the Cape for our vacation the last few years, but don’t think we’ll make it up there this year. Loved living vicariously through your photos.

I love Maki–she’s adorable! Amazing photos, as always, Brian!
